Name: Robin Coltez Established: 1974 Sign: Virgo / Tiger Education: Seneca College of Applied Art & Technology Profession: Graphic/Web/Multimedia Designer Disciplines: Martial Arts, Dancer, Educator & Documentarian Location: Toronto, Canada Area
I’m also known as Rocabye. I’m a Martial Artist, Bboy and Freestyle HipHop/House Dancer who uses these unique sources of inspiration to draw from as a graphic/web designer, photographer and video editor.
I think of myself as sort of a chameleon… a person who can adopt to various situations and environments. Being open minded and the constant student whom loves to paint and draw; enables me to bring a vast amount of passion and experience to the task at hand.
Over my years of experiences a few memorable moments are when I earned a 3rd degree black belt in the Art of Tae-Kwon Do and performed as a back up dancer with my HipHop group UBIS on Electric Circus (EC) the day it went international in 1993. Being one of the original members of the Toronto Blue Jays Street Dance team known as “J-Force” in 2002 was also a great moment.
Throughout my design career, I have worked on projects for major companies such as Pepsi, Mars, Procter & Gamble, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, and Ford.
